Is he offering to take the ball? Is he hesitating on what to do next? Is he prepared to play the ball forward or is he avoiding taking risks? Does he need to touch the ball a second time to place it where he wants it, or does he receive,  play and move on? Players who aren’t really involved in the game become increasingly insecure  and tend to lose the ball unnecessarily or just avoid contact.
